How to Join the Virtual Queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!

Similar to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT will utilize a Virtual Queue instead of a stand-by line to ride.

**REMEMBER! You don’t have to be in the park or even near it to do this. I actually suggest doing this in your room before you leave for the park. If you are staying off-site, you can still successfully join the queue from your hotel room if you follow these steps.

Make sure everyone in your group has the My Disney Experience app downloaded and update your party in the app to be sure everyone is properly linked to their reservation. Also, make sure everyone has a valid EPCOT park reservation for this day!

Here is my secret to success for joining the queue!

Step 1: Turn Off Wifi

First, I suggest that everyone in your group that is trying to get into the virtual queue have the app downloaded and ready to go to increase your odds. Make sure you have good cell service and that your wifi is turned OFF!

Step 2: Open the My Disney Experience App

When you open the app, scroll down until you see the link to “Request Access with Virtual Queue.”

Step 3: Click at the Correct Time!

Do NOT click “JOIN” until RIGHT AT 7AM. If there are multiple people in your party, the app will automatically pick everyone who has a park reservation for EPCOT on that day. This is helpful so you don’t have to waste time selecting everyone in your group.

Step 4: Just Wait

Wait and see if you got in! If multiple people are trying to get a group, the app may glitch and send you back to the home page. DON’T WORRY! Just refresh your page and you should see your boarding group. When multiple people in your party are trying, after the first person secures a spot in the virtual queue, everyone will be in the same one. You won’t get different or multiple groups. Make sure everyone in your party has their notifications turned on so you’ll be alerted when it’s your turn!

You got a spot in the queue! Now what?

If you secured a spot in the queue, you will see a screen with your group number, the amount of people in your group, etc. Now you just have to wait until it’s your turn! You will be notified through the app when it is your turn to head to the ride entrance. If you are eating lunch or in line for another ride when your group is notified, DON’T PANIC! You have one hour from the time your group has been called until you have to be at the entrance of the ride.

So you didn’t get it at 7AM…now what?

If you weren’t successful at getting a boarding group at 7AM, it’s not the end of the world! You can try again at 1 PM. Same procedure as before, but you must be IN THE PARK at the 1 PM time. If you need help doing this, cast members are always happy to help!

If anything else goes wrong…

If the app straight up glitches (not everyone in your party shows up in your group for the virtual queue, the group shows at 7AM and then disappears, anything out of the ordinary…) don’t worry! Once you get to the park, head straight to Guest Relations and they will work their magic to make things right.

I hope this information is useful in helping you snag a spot in the virtual queue for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
